Lancaster County Residents Send More than 1,000 Greeting Cards to Walter Reed Soldiers 

HARRISBURG – Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) today thanked Lancaster County residents for sending in more than 1,000 greeting cards to be delivered to soldiers at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. 

Brubaker said that the overwhelming response from county residents included many heartfelt messages of appreciation for the men and women who are serving our country in the Armed Forces. 

"The brave individuals who are serving our nation need our support and encouragement more than ever during the holiday season, and I am impressed and deeply grateful that the people of Lancaster County have come together to deliver so many messages of admiration, inspiration and hope," Brubaker said.

The greeting cards were mailed to the medical center today.
