Brubaker Urges Area Residents to Take Part In Effort to Send Holiday Cards to
Soldiers
HARRISBURG – Senator Mike Brubaker (R-Lancaster) is encouraging area
residents to support their service personnel during this holiday season by
taking part in an effort to send holiday cards to soldiers at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Brubaker is collecting cards at his district office which will then be sent
to the Red Cross for distribution to soldiers who are receiving treatment at
Walter Reed.
"It's a great way to share the holiday spirit with our soldiers and show them
how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice," Brubaker said. "At this
time of year, it is especially important to remember these service men and women
and their families."
Cards can be dropped off at Senator Brubaker's district office, located on
301 East Main Street in Lititz until the close of business on December 3, 2009.
