Brubaker Urges Business Owners to Attend Alternative Energy Investment Forum
HARRISBURG – Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) is urging
business owners to attend an educational briefing next week to learn more about
alternative energy programs available to local businesses.
Brubaker said that many local business owners are eligible
for alternative energy projects that were recently enacted as part of the
Alternative Energy Investment Act approved by the General Assembly in 2008. The
new law includes funding for government loan, grant and rebate programs for the
purchase and installation of alternative energy technology.
"Energy costs are a major concern for many business owners,
and many of the new state programs available for businesses can dramatically
reduce these monthly costs," Brubaker said. "Local businesses deserve their fair
share of funding from these new programs, and I am hopeful that this forum will
help local business owners learn more about the available programs."
Brubaker will be the featured speaker for the event and
will outline the types of financing and capital sources available for
alternative energy investments.
The forum will be held on June 18 at Eden Resort Inn and
Suites in Lancaster from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. The forum will be hosted by the
Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry. |
