Retraction
A recent press release announcing Sen. Brubakers
legislation to place a moratorium on prevailing wage requirements for municipal,
state and school district construction projects erroneously stated that
out-of-state companies were not subject to prevailing wage requirements.
Under the prevailing wage law, all contractors are required
to pay prevailing wage rates for any qualifying municipal, state or school
district project in excess of $25,000.
