Local Resident Makes Substantial Food Donation at Senator Brubaker's Lititz Office

HARRISBURG – A Lancaster County man dropped off 18 grocery bags full of food at Senator Mike Brubaker’s (R-36) Lititz office today to be donated to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. 

Brubaker opened his district offices for food donations to the Central PA Food Bank in March, allowing district residents to drop off donations to feed needy families in the area. The local resident read about the donations and decided to contribute to the effort, saying that he felt the need to help since he had been blessed in his own life. 

"The compassion and caring of the people I represent is truly remarkable," Brubaker said. "It is amazing what volunteers can do when asked to help those in need." 

Brubaker said that the Central PA Food Bank will pick up the donations and distribute the food to Lancaster County food banks.
