For Immediate Release Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee to hold listening session in MercerSession is last in statewide Building a Vision for Rural PA seriesHARRISBURG – State Senator Robert Robbins (R-Greenville) will be hosting a listening session on Monday for his Senate colleagues, Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee Chairman Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) said today. This session is the last in the Building a Vision for Rural Pennsylvania series that Brubaker and his Committee have been holding statewide over the past several months. The public session will be held on Monday, May 14, at 1 p.m. at the Mercer County Conservation District, 747 Greenville Road, Mercer. "At each of the listening sessions we have held recently, we have heard the unique perspectives of our agriculture and rural communities around the Commonwealth," Brubaker said. "I encourage anyone who would like to share their thoughts to attend Monday's session in Mercer." "With the information we have collected from our series, I believe that we will be able to build a comprehensive agenda for the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee. "Of course, none of this would have been possible without the participation of the Committee members, and I want to thank my colleagues for being willing to host sessions," Brubaker said. Anyone who would like to attend and/or speak at the session in Mercer on Monday should contact Senator Brubaker's office at 717-787-4420 or via email at SenateAgRuralAffairs@pasen.gov.
