For Immediate Release Senator Brubaker continues municipal roundtables with local officialsEPHRATA – State Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) will be holding a roundtable discussion with representatives of Honey Brook Township and Honey Brook Borough on Friday, August 24, at the Honey Brook Township building. "I believe it is important to have an open line of communication between the state and local branches of government," Brubaker said. "In many cases, what we do in the General Assembly has a direct impact on our municipalities, and this kind of dialogue helps both sides ask questions and air concerns." Brubaker said that he has been holding these meetings on a monthly basis since March, and that he is planning to continue to hold similar roundtables over the coming months so that he can meet with representatives of all of the municipalities in the 36th District. "Of course, I encourage any of the municipalities in the 36th District to contact my office at anytime if they need assistance," Brubaker said. "I look forward to meeting all of our local officials and I believe we will be able to create lasting and productive working relationships."
