Senator Brubaker Continues Open Meetings with Local Officials

Municipal roundtables facilitate open dialogue, communication

EPHRATA – State Senator Mike Brubaker (R-36) will be holding a roundtable discussion with representatives of West Sadsbury and West Fallowfield Townships as well as Atglen and Christiana Boroughs on Thursday, May 24, at the Christiana Borough Building.

"Many of the matters we discuss in the state government have a direct impact on the way in which local governments conduct their business," Brubaker said. "For that reason, it is very important to me to listen to the questions and concerns of the local officials in the 36th District."

Brubaker began his roundtable meetings in March, and plans to hold similar roundtables across his senatorial district each month.

"I believe it is essential to have a solid working relationship among all branches of government so that we can better serve our mutual constituents," Brubaker said. "I look forward to meeting each member of our local governments over the next few months, and encourage any municipality in the 36th District to contact my office at any time if they need assistance or if they would like to discuss any matter with me."
