Staff from legislative
offices, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Pennsylvania Association of Regional
Food Banks, the Penn State Cooperative Extension and Master Gardeners planted
the Capitol Hunger Garden for the 2nd year!

Thank you for all those that came out on Friday, May 6th for the first planting
of the season at the Capitol Hunger Garden. We had over 15 volunteers working
hard to plant fresh vegetables and herbs that will benefit local food banks and
soup kitchens in Central Pennsylvania. Thanks to those who came out to help that
day and we look forward to seeing you all back in the future! |
