House Bill 174 (Carroll), codifying and amending the Public
Eating and Drinking Place Law, the Food Act and the Food Employee
Certification Act.

Amendment 08875 - Establishing the Department of Agriculture’s retail food facility
inspection standard as the standard that must be used by all licensors; adding
the content of Senator Vogel’s “pie bill” (SB 828, now Act 31); clarifying that
the department may take over the inspection of a licensor’s retail food
facilities if that licensor is failing to inspect; adding churches that serve
food to the public to the list of entities which may be exempt from licensing
requirements; removing proposed requirements under Food Employee Certification,
and; repealing outdated acts.

House Bill 2139
(Myers), establishing the PA Agricultural Surplus System program in the
Department of Agriculture.

Amendment 08560 - technical and clean up; removing language
referring to one specific charitable food network as the agency with which
the Department may contract.
- House Bill 511 (Cutler), amending Title 3 (Agriculture)
and Title 18 (Crimes Code) to create the definition of “agricultural
biosecurity area” and to create the crime of agricultural biosecurity area
trespasser.

“Hunger Action Month” in Pennsylvania.
